Windows 11’s next update arrives on September 26th with Copilot, AI-powered Paint, and more

Microsoft is releasing a major update to Windows 11 on September 26th that will introduce several new features. These include Copilot, an AI-powered assistant that can respond to queries and commands; a redesigned File Explorer with a more modern interface; Ink Anywhere, which allows pen input anywhere in Windows; and improvements to apps like Photos, Paint, Snipping Tool, and Backup.

Game of Thrones creator and other authors sue ChatGPT-maker for ‘theft’

Seventeen authors, including George R.R. Martin and John Grisham, filed a lawsuit against OpenAI for copyright infringement. The lawsuit alleges OpenAI's ChatGPT illegally uses parts of the authors' books without permission. OpenAI claims its scraping of online content to train AI is fair use. This joins other recent lawsuits by writers concerned AI is stealing creative work.
